We are happy to invite and welcome Tarika to New York.
We have listened to many friends share their amazing personal experiences about her group. Now since her schedule has opened up, we have an opportunity of finally inviting her to Padma NYC to share her work.
Tarika describes herself as an "Osho therapist". she says it's because the primary inspiration for her work comes from being with Osho; and what makes her work unique is the way she combines therapy and meditation.
Tarika is a native New Yorker which makes her coming here even juicier. She has worked in various therapeutic fields: from addiction services, to the Center for Anxiety and Depression, and also The Institute for Love and Consciousness. She has more than forty years of experience in this work. She travels the world sharing her understanding of what it is to truly accept and love oneself. It is a gift to have her with us in October. We encourage everyone to join and participate.
We are happy to invite and welcome Tarika to New York.
Our friends Chaya and Indivar will be visiting New York for a few days in November and offering to share with us a taste of the Mystic Rose.
This workshop offers an intensely deep and enjoyable process of releasing tensions and energy blocks through laughter and tears. After this release, relaxation and watchfulness happens naturally.
We will start off with a meditation to help support the laughter and tears and to end we will finish with a silent sitting.
Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity.

A special guest in the band this year after long absence is Ashik, the amazing violinist, who will bring his own unique magic to the music.
Come join us for an Italian Carvinal themed-evening of creativity and delicious cuisine.

This is an empowering time to be a woman. We are in a new era where we can have a voice — where we can speak out passionately, tenderly, creatively — and be heard. We long for love, but not at the expense of losing ourselves.
We long for success and abundance, but not at the expense of becoming too masculine, stressed, and outer focused. We long for meditation, awareness, and having an open heart.
In this workshop, we will deepen our connection to our body, our heart and intuition while finding a more mature dimension of self-love and acceptance. In the company of woman, we will be creating a powerful forcefield with which to explore the divisions, jealousies, and competitiveness that keep us isolated and separate.

You are invited to an Indian Wedding Dining Experience — in the heart of New York City!
Celebrate the essence of an Indian Wedding with healthy, home-cooked cuisine enjoyed in a colorful meditative atmosphere of laughter, friendship, Bollywood dance, and more. The five-course dinner will be complimented by delicious Asian-inspired cocktails made by our in-house bartender, Meera.
The menu is created by Chef Subodh from Brooklyn senses, whose passion is East-West cooking combining Ayurvedic healing spices of India with the organic natural ingredients of the West. The benefits of this fusion style often go unnoticed, so Subodh will be sharing his experience as the evening unfolds. Hopefully everyone can take away some of this knowledge to use at home in their own kitchen.
This dinner is brought to you by Brooklyn Senses and hosted by Padma NYC. The micro-greens are sponsored by Brooklyn’s very own organic rooftop farm: Brooklyn Grange
Since our childhood we were formatted in many ways to reject ourselves. In this course we go through the memories
that created the beliefs and fears that stop us from being loving and compassionate with ourselves.
By accessing a new understanding of the inner mechanisms of self-rejection and doubt , we will discover
our uniqueness , beauty and value. Hence, we will find ourselves relating with ourselves and others in a totally fresh and harmonious way.
We are hosting another dinner event. You will be part of something new and completely different from any other dining experience you have had before. We work holistically, offering up delicious vegetarian food (4 Japanese courses plus sake) in an atmosphere of awareness. Through-out the evening there will be challenges that need your commitment and trust. Embracing these challenges you will ultimately experience a dining night you will never forget.

Through the alchemy of Dance Energy Transformation, we find the roots in the body and emotional body of the voices of conditioning that tell us how to be and not to be - and keep us small and afraid. In this group we unearth and question the limiting ideas of how we should be. Facing them, and expressing the life energy held within them as it is allows the false to be burned away. As we dance the life energy that is our birthright, we can begin to relax into being ourselves - just the way we are right now.

In these two days, we will open our hearts to a deep space of love, intimacy, and connection with ourselves and others.
The key to this opening lies not only in reaching out to others but also in reaching inward to our essence, our being, and letting that become the foundation for intimacy.
Osho has spoken about love and meditation, how love arises from the source of meditation and how meditation in turn nourishes love.
To love often meant to abandon ourselves and let go of our boundaries, whereas to meditate meant to renounce intimacy and partnering this vision allows for both.
It is a meeting of the masculine and the feminine which is a door to the Tantric way of life.
Vasumati has had the opportunity to work closely with Osho, being one of the first therapists in the Commune. She brings her vast experience and love to the work, that she shares around the world. Having her here with us in New York City is truly a wonderful gift.

Come join us for our first live concert with Steven Walters hosted by our friends Milarepa and Svahaa. Stevens masterful guitar playing reaches to the sky, his lyrics touch the heart and move the soul. What a gift it is to have him here with us for this special event.
Living in this fast-paced city of New York, there are rare moments in a day where one is actually fully present, aware, and relaxed. When such moments occur, they seem almost to happen in spite of us.
Meditation creates the right inner climate, making us more open, sensitive, and available, so such experiences are not just something happening once in a while to us, but more our constant state, a continuum.
A Day Of Awareness is a day of nourishment, a time-out, an opportunity to come off the grid for a few hours, relax deeply, go inside ourselves and be acquainted with the space from where such spontaneous moments arise.
“When you are flowing with joy, blissfulness, that is the moment to be aware, but people do exactly the opposite. When they are happy who cares about awareness? And when they are in anguish, then certainly they start thinking it is time to be aware and get out of anguish. But nobody has ever been able to get out from anguish directly. First, one has to get out from ecstasy. If you can be aware of your joyful moments in the first place, the depression, the downs will not come. The door to get out is from ecstasy." Osho
Cost: $45 (including lunch)

Satori is a powerful and intense method of inquiry into oneself. This process aims at establishing a solid connection with the source of life in us – our being. We all have glimpses of it, but they mostly happen accidentally. To come out of this accidentalness we need to discover how we can arrive at the same place consciously. For this we use a set of questions as a device to move through the layers of our thoughts and feelings into a state of no-mind and Being.
Ganga began her Satori journey under Osho’s guidance back in the early 70s. She has been leading groups all over the world for over 40 years. Ganga’s wisdom, compassion, and mastery of this process are a rare gift.

The AUM is a two hour active meditation which guides us step by step in a safe supportive environment. It gives us the opportunity to actively explore all that we keep repressed such as hate, love, sensuality, tears, laughter and joy. Through this self guided and group-supported inquiry into ourselves, we begin to experience a new sense of aliveness, which also brings about a spontaneous feeling of playfulness and relaxation.
