Being Yourself : Dance - The Joy of Rebellion

Through the alchemy of Dance Energy Transformation, we find the roots in the body and emotional body of the voices of conditioning that tell us how to be and not to be - and keep us small and afraid. In this group we unearth and question the limiting ideas of how we should be. Facing them, and expressing the life energy held within them as it allows the false to be burned away. As we dance the life energy that is our birthright, we can begin to relax into being ourselves - just the way we are right now.

Maneesha McClure has been working as a dance therapist since 1986. She developed “Dance Alchemy”, a body-based therapy with a life-affirmative foundation based on meditation, love, and celebration. It is a unique way of using dance and the alchemy of one’s own body to transform negative emotions, find self-love and acceptance, while connecting more deeply with one’s try nature.

Maneesha is originally from New York City. She initially studied dance in the USA, but after meeting Osho in India in 1975, she dove into the path of meditation and also began training as a therapist in childhood and relationship resolution work, emotional release, hypnosis, and past life regression. She also trained in metaphysical energy work, metaphysical reading, therapeutic bodywork, and trauma healing. Since 1988, she has been teaching courses, groups and trainings in her speciality, Dance Alchemy, and for seven years also facilitating the Dance Meditation Training in the Osho Multiversity in India, Europe and America.

Osho named her Director of the Osho Institute for Dancing. She currently resides in Sedona, Arizona, where she offers dance classes and individual sessions in massage/therapeutic bodywork, hypnosis and emotional transformation.
